About This Call

The Loveland Art Studio Tour is a curated, city-wide self-guided walking/driving tour offering artists the opportunity to demonstrate their skills, educate visitors, and welcome collectors into their studios over two weekends in October (October 11-12 and October 18-19, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.).

Eligibility and Requirements: Artist studios must have a Loveland mailing address. Only artwork from approved Loveland Art Studio Tour artists may be exhibited or offered for sale at tour locations. Locations must be open and staffed during published hours on contracted weekends. Preference is given to working studios providing demonstrations on both weekends. Limited to 35 locations in the Loveland, Colorado mailing address area.

Fees and Participation: Individual artist participation is $175 plus a $25 non-refundable application fee. Group applications (multiple artists at one location) are $175 per artist plus $25 application fee per artist. Gallery participation is $325 plus $25 application fee. Event fees may be divided into two payments. Work sample requirements: minimum 3 images, maximum 8 images; up to 2 audio files and 2 video files; total samples between 3 and 10.

Event Benefits: Participants receive one free hour of consultation on topics such as marketing, website design, and social media; one thumbnail ad in a full-color brochure; one piece in the Loveland Museum Preview Show; booth opportunities at Pastels on 5th, Art in the Park, and NoCo Mini-Maker Faire; a Meet the Artists Reception at Loveland Museum/Gallery on September 12; a Gala Opening on October 10; and promotional support including print and digital advertising, social media coverage, and website rotation.

Participants are expected to distribute a minimum of 50 postcards or rack cards and actively promote the event. Artists must have all necessary licenses for sales and pay applicable taxes. Personal liability insurance is recommended. Parking must be available within reasonable distance of the location. The curator's selection decision is final and may not be appealed.
