67th Rochester-Finger Lakes Exhibition

The 67th Rochester-Finger Lakes Exhibition showcases works by emerging and established artists from a 27-county region of upstate and western New York. The exhibition runs August 14 – October 17, 2021, with an opening party and awards ceremony on Saturday, August 14, followed by public opening on Sunday, August 15.

Eligibility: Entrants must be at least 18 years of age and live in the following 27-county upstate New York region: Allegany, Broome, Cattaraugus, Cayuga, Chautauqua, Chemung, Chenango, Cortland, Genesee, Erie, Livingston, Madison, Monroe, Niagara, Oneida, Onondaga, Ontario, Orleans, Oswego, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Tioga, Tompkins, Wayne, Wyoming, and Yates. Artists may enter up to three artworks. Entries must be original work completed within the last two years and must be suitably prepared for exhibition. Submit one JPEG image per artwork. For digital media films/interactives, media format must be used (stills are not accepted). Entry fee is $35 per artist (non-refundable). Deadline: Sunday, April 4, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Late entries are not accepted.

Juror: Amanda Chestnut, curator, artist, and educator in Rochester, New York. Awards include a Memorial Art Gallery Award ($1,500) and other cash awards. Jury results will be notified on Monday, May 23, 2021. Accepted works must be hand-delivered July 29–31, 2021. Artists are responsible for picking up work October 18–19, 2021. Works not picked up during these dates become the property of the Memorial Art Gallery. The artist is responsible for insuring work to and from the Gallery.
