64th Annual Juried Exhibit

The Hardy Gallery invites artists of all career levels, age 18 and older, residing in Wisconsin to submit work for the 64th Annual Wall-to-Wall Juried Exhibit. All media is eligible. Submitted work must be original and created solely by the artist without the use of generative AI tools. Work must be original in concept, design, and execution. Photo reproductions or prints of original works are not eligible. Artwork previously exhibited at the Hardy Gallery or created before May 2025 will not be accepted. Work produced with commercial kits, molds, plans, or prefabricated forms will not be accepted. Artwork must not exceed 42 inches horizontally or 72 inches vertically, including frame. Sculptures must not exceed a weight that can be handled by one person. Multiple unit works may be entered if total dimensions meet size limitations.

Artists may submit up to four pieces. Entry fees are $40 for one entry and $10 for each additional entry. Students receive all entries for $10 with proof of current enrollment. Submissions are made digitally through ArtCall only. The entry deadline is April 12, 2026 at 11:59 pm. Artist notification will be provided no later than April 22, 2026. The exhibition runs May 22 – July 5, 2026, with an opening reception on Friday, May 22 from 5:30-7:00 pm. A juror talk and award announcement will be held June 12, 2026 from 2:00-3:00 pm. The juror is Rebecca Carlton, conceptual ceramicist and owner of Juddville Contemporary Clay Studio & Gallery in Fish Creek, WI.

Six awards totaling $1,700 will be announced, including 1st Place ($500), 2nd Place ($400), 3rd Place ($300), Julia Van Roo Bresnahan Artistic Achievement Award ($200), People's Choice Award ($150), and Sandy Zapffe Creative Whimsy Award ($150), plus three non-cash honorable mention awards. All work must be hand delivered May 15-16 from 10am-3pm and picked up July 5 from 3-5pm or July 6 from 9am-12pm. No shipped entries are accepted. The gallery will apply a 40% commission fee on all sales made during the exhibition. Artwork will be insured at the value stated by the artist, not to exceed 60% of retail value. By submitting work, artists grant The Hardy Gallery the right to use images for promotional purposes.
