64ARTS National Juried Exhibition

This national juried exhibition showcases visual artwork from artists across the United States and promotes the importance of the arts in the Warren County community and surrounding region.

The non-refundable entry fee is $30 per artist for up to three pieces of artwork (one image per piece). The exhibition is open to artists working in all mediums. Works must be original and created in the last two years. Works created under the direction of an instructor or derived from copyrighted images will not be accepted. Works previously exhibited at the Buchanan Center for the Arts will not be accepted. Hanging work may not exceed 40 lbs. per unit and are limited to 50" (including frame) in either direction. Three-dimensional work should not exceed 75 lbs. or 60" in any direction. All two-dimensional works on paper must be framed and under plexiglass. Glass is acceptable for works under 14" in any direction. Frames and mattes must be museum quality, clean, and in good condition. Wiring must be in good condition and substantial enough to support the weight of the artwork. Sawtooth hangers are acceptable for works 14"x14" or under only.

Accepted works may be hand-delivered or shipped to 64 Public Square, Monmouth, IL 61462. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs and must include prepaid return shipping labels. Submissions must include artist name, mailing address, phone number, email address, title, year completed, dimensions, price, and presentation/installation instructions on the back of each piece. Notification of acceptance will be sent July 2-6, 2024. Artwork is due by August 31. The exhibition runs September 10-November 1, with return of artwork November 5-9. All accepted work is insured for up to $1,000 for the duration of the exhibition. All sales made during the exhibition are subject to a 20% sales commission. Awards include Mary Jane Twomey Best of Show ($1,000), and category awards of $300 each for Mixed Media, Sculpture, Works on Paper, Photography, Painting, and Ceramics. Recipients of monetary awards will be determined by the juror. Artists need not be present to be considered for a monetary award. For questions, contact [email protected].
