64 Arts National Juried Exhibition 2016

The 64 Arts National Juried Exhibition 2016 is open to artists working in all media areas. Entries are limited to a maximum of three works per $25 entry fee and must have been created in the last two years. Works must be original, and source material must not be derived from copyrighted images. Works previously exhibited at the Buchanan Center for the Arts will not be accepted. Works created under the direction of an instructor should not be submitted.

Awards include: Mary Jane Twomey Award for Best of Show ($1,000), Special 2016 Lonnie Eugene Stewart Sculpture Award ($1,000), OSF Family Medical Center Painting Award ($300), Blick Art Materials Mixed Media Award ($300), Blick Art Materials Sculpture Award ($300), Jim Keefe Photography Award ($300), Works on Paper Award ($300), and Ceramics Award ($300). Recipients will be determined by the juror and announced at the opening reception on Friday, October 7, 2016, 5:00-7:00 p.m. Artists need not be present.

All two-dimensional works on paper must be framed and under plexiglass (glass acceptable for works under 14" in any direction). Frames and mats must be museum quality, clean, and in good condition. Hanging works may not exceed 40 lbs per unit and are limited to 50" (including frame) in either direction. Three-dimensional work should not exceed 75 lbs or 60" in any direction. Delivery of works is August 1-13, 2016. Hand-delivered artwork pick up is November 1-4, 2016, and return of shipped artwork is November 1-5, 2016. Notification will be sent via email or post by July 15, 2016. All entries must be submitted digitally through www.callforentry.org by midnight CST on June 15, 2016.
