64 Arts National Juried Exhibition 2015

The 64 Arts National Juried Exhibition 2015 is open to artists working in all media areas. This national exhibition will be held from August 31 to October 23, 2015. The entry fee is $25.00 for up to three works. Artists may submit 1-3 images of original works created within the last two years. Works must not have been previously exhibited at the Buchanan Center, and source material must be original and not derived from copyrighted images. Works created under the direction of an instructor should not be submitted.

Awards totaling $2,500 will be presented, including a Best of Show award of $1,000, and category awards of $300 each for painting, mixed media, sculpture, photography, works on paper, and ceramics. The awards reception will be held on September 11, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Notification of acceptance will be sent via email or post by July 15, 2015. Artists need not be present to win.

Two-dimensional works on paper must be framed and under plexiglass (glass acceptable for works under 14" in any direction). Frames and mats must be museum quality, clean, and in good condition. Wiring must be substantial enough to support the artwork's weight. Hanging works may not exceed 40 lbs and are limited to 50" in either direction. Three-dimensional work should not exceed 75 lbs or 60" in any direction. Artwork delivery is August 1-15, 2015. Hand-delivered artwork pickup is October 27-31, 2015; shipped artwork will be returned October 27-30, 2015. The juror is ceramic artist Frank Saliani.
