64 ARTS

This national juried exhibition showcases visual artwork from artists across the United States and promotes the importance of the arts in the Warren County community and surrounding region. The exhibition is open to artists working in all mediums. Works must be original and created in the last two years. Works created under the direction of an instructor or derived from copyrighted images will not be accepted. Works previously exhibited at the Buchanan Center for the Arts will not be accepted.

The non-refundable entry fee is $30 per artist for up to three pieces of artwork, with one image per piece. Hanging work may not exceed 40 lbs. per unit and are limited to 50" (including frame) in either direction. Three-dimensional work should not exceed 75 lbs. or 60" in any direction. All two-dimensional works on paper must be framed and under plexiglass. Glass is acceptable for works under 14" in any direction. Frames and mattes must be museum quality, clean, and in good condition. Wiring must be in good condition and substantial enough to support the weight of the artwork. Sawtooth hangers are acceptable for works 14"x14" or under only. Images must be accurate representations of submitted work; accepted works that do not reasonably meet the quality indicated in the image will be refused.

Accepted works may be hand-delivered or shipped to 64 Public Square, Monmouth, IL 61462. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs and must include call tags or prepaid shipping labels for return shipping. Submissions must include artist name, mailing address, phone number, email address, title, year completed, dimensions, price, and presentation/installation instructions posted on the back of each piece. All accepted work is insured for up to $1,000 for the duration of the exhibition. All sales made during the exhibition are subject to a 20% sales commission. Exhibition dates are September 9-October 31, 2025. Notification of acceptance will be sent via email July 1-5, 2025. Awards include Mary Jane Twomey Best of Show ($1,000), Blick Art Materials Mixed Media Award ($300), Blick Art Materials Sculpture Award ($300), Harlow & Lila Blum Works on Paper Award ($300), James Keefe Photography Award ($300), John Ohler Works on Paper Award ($300), Gary Willhardt Painting Award ($300), and Ceramics Award ($300).
