60th Annual All Florida Juried Competition and Exhibition

The Boca Raton Museum of Art invites artists to submit work for the 60th Annual All Florida Juried Competition and Exhibition. Artists may submit 1, 2, or 3 artworks for a non-refundable entry fee of $35. Payment is accepted online by credit card only. All entries must be submitted online by Friday, April 15, 2011.

Eligible works must be original artworks completed after January 1, 2009 and not previously exhibited at the Boca Raton Museum of Art. 2D artists may submit up to three artworks with one image each. 3D artists may submit up to three artworks with no more than two images per artwork. Video and time-based artists must include two still images per artwork and send copies of video or sound materials on CD or DVD format, postmarked by Thursday, April 8, 2011, to Kelli Bodle, Curatorial Assistant, Boca Raton Museum of Art, 501 Plaza Real, Boca Raton, FL 33432. All prints in the Digital and Photography category must be signed and numbered in a limited edition of 250 or less. Artworks must not contain live plants, perishable items, or require consistent maintenance. No artwork may measure more than 8 feet in any direction or weigh more than 100 pounds without prior written permission. All 2D works must be wired or have hanging devices already attached. Works must be properly identified with a label on the reverse.

Accepted artists are responsible for all shipping arrangements and expenses. Shipped works must be received by June 20, 2011. Original artwork may be dropped off between 10am and 4pm on June 21 or 22, 2011, and picked up between 10am and 4pm on September 12 or 13, 2011. The exhibition runs Wednesday, June 29 through Sunday, September 11. Cash awards total $3,000: Best-In-Show $1,500 and three Merit Awards of $500 each. The juror is Valerie Ann Leeds.
