5th Annual International Juried Print Exhibition

Remarque/New Grounds Print Workshop & Gallery invites printmakers from around the world to submit work for the 5th Annual International Juried Print Exhibition, held December 1, 2017 to January 27, 2018. The exhibition has no set theme and aims to present a collection of innovative prints featuring themes and techniques from all traditions of printmaking. This year's juror and curator is Andrew Connors, Curator of Art at the Albuquerque Museum.

Each artist may submit up to 5 original, two-dimensional prints created within the last 3 years using traditional printmaking techniques or combinations thereof. No photography, digital images, or giclée reproductions are accepted. Maximum paper size is 16 x 20" or 20 x 16". The entry fee is $30 USD (non-refundable), payable via CaFE. This fee covers return postage, administration, and exhibition costs. All selected works will be archivally framed and displayed in the Remarque Gallery at no additional cost to artists beyond shipping.

First prize includes a solo show at Remarque/New Grounds in fall 2019, gallery representation, and an artist page on the gallery website. Representation may be offered to more than one artist. Awards will be announced during the opening reception. Artists will be notified of juror results by October 20, 2017. Accepted works must arrive by November 10, 2017, unframed and un-mounted, signed with artist's name, title, year, and numbering. The gallery retains 50% of retail price on sales; artists receive 50%. Payment will be made within 30 days of the exhibition's end via check or PayPal. By submitting, artists grant Remarque the right to use their images for marketing the exhibition with artist recognition provided.
