5th Annual Associate Members Online Exhibition

The AIS Associate Members Online Exhibition is open to current or new paid Associate members of AIS who are legal US residents. Membership dues of $65 must be paid prior to the entry deadline. Artists may submit up to five paintings in oil, pastel, acrylic, watercolor, casein, egg tempera, oil sticks, or gouache. Work must be original in concept and execution, impressionistic in style, and completed within the last three years. Work done in any class or under instructor guidance is not eligible. Work painted from reference photos must be created from the artist's own photographs. Diptychs, triptychs, and multi-surface works are not permitted, and entries may not have been exhibited in any previous AIS show.

Entry fees are $20 for the first painting and $10 per additional painting up to five works (total $60 for five paintings). Fees are nonrefundable. Maximum of one painting per artist may be accepted into the show. All accepted works will be posted in a special AIS online digital catalog, ShowSubmit gallery, and AIS Facebook pages. No shipping is required. Artists retain 100% of sales price, and AIS will direct buyers to artists' websites and contact information included in the online exhibit. Work may be entered that is not for sale.

Awards include Best Impressionist Work/Best of Show ($2,000), Award of Distinction Featured Artist in Fine Art Connoisseur ($1,000 value), three Awards of Merit ($750 each), ten Honorable Mentions ($75 each), and a Special Watercolor Award (Brienne M. Brown AIS Video "Painting Beautiful Transparent Shadows," $69 value). Judge: Brienne M. Brown AIS. Image submissions must be high-quality JPEG files at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Entries must be submitted and paid by July 15, 2025.
