The competition accepts work in the following categories: Painting, Drawing, Graphic Arts, Collage, Sculpture, and Mixed Media. Entries must not exceed 108 inches in any direction and/or 150 pounds. Large sculpture should be weatherproofed for outdoor display. No entry that requires the artist to be present for moving or assembly will be accepted.

Works selected for exhibition will be received hand-delivered or shipped prepaid from October 9–19, 2018, during Museum hours: Wednesday through Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Sunday noon to 4:00 p.m. The Juror will select awards on November 8th after reviewing actual entries. Over $10,000 in purchase and merit awards will be presented at the Awards Reception on Saturday, December 8, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. CST. Purchase award-winning works will become part of the permanent collection of the Evansville Museum. The exhibition runs from December 9, 2018–March 3, 2019. Exhibited work may be claimed from March 4–15, 2019, during Museum hours. The Museum takes a 20% commission for the sale of works from this exhibition.
