59th Annual Regional Juried Art Exhibition & Sale

The Richardson Civic Art Society (RCAS) invites amateur and professional Texas artists, age 18 and over, to submit work for the 59th Annual Regional Juried Art Exhibition & Sale. The exhibition will be on display April 30 through May 26, 2025, at the Charles W. Eisemann Center, 2351 Performance Drive, Richardson, TX 75082.

Eligibility: Artwork must be original, executed after March 2023 without instructor supervision, and must not be copies of other artists' work or previously accepted into RCAS Regional Exhibitions. Artwork and source materials cannot have been generated using artificial intelligence. Only two-dimensional art is accepted in four juried categories: Oils (including water soluble oils, oil & cold wax, and encaustic oils); Watermedia (watercolor, acrylic, gouache, inks on paper or canvas); Pastels, Graphics, Digital, & Photographic Art; and Collage & Mixed Media. Artwork containing nudes, conspicuously religious, blatant political, or suggestive content will not be accepted. Minimum artwork dimensions are 8" x 10" without frame; maximum framed dimension is 42" in either direction with 2" or less depth. Selected artwork must be dry and professionally framed with D-rings. Watercolor and fragile media must be under plexiglass or sealed with varnish and matted with white or off-white mat at least 3" wide.

Entry fees: $35 for one piece, $45 for two pieces, or $55 for three pieces (limit three total). RCAS members receive a 25% discount. All fees are non-refundable. Entry deadline is March 17, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Acceptance notifications will be emailed April 1, 2025. Hand-delivered artwork take-in is April 28, 2025, 4:00-6:00 p.m. Shipped artwork must be received between April 19-26, 2025. Awards total approximately $6,000, including Best of Show ($1,500), Judge's Choice ($500), and category awards (1st place $300, 2nd place $250, 3rd place $200). A reception and awards ceremony will be held May 23, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. Load out is May 27, 2025, 10:00 a.m. to noon. All sales incur a 25% commission (15% to Eisemann Center, 10% to RCAS).
