About This Call
Up North Arts Inc. invites artists to apply for the 58th Annual Phyllis Olson Art Fair, held in Cadillac, Michigan, July 17 and 18, 2026 on Lake Cadillac. The Art Fair includes approximately 100 artists' booths and welcomes all artists who exhibit art of original concept, design and execution. Artists are juried to ensure the highest standards for both the artists and for the viewing public. The fair runs Friday 12pm - 7 p.m. and Saturday 10am-5pm.
The Phyllis Olson Juried Art fair is in its 58th year of showcasing fine artists in conjunction with the Cadillac Festival of the Arts which hosts children's art experiences, cottage food artisans and crafters, food trucks, non-profit food vendors and live music in the Cadillac Commons. Artists must be present to represent their own work for the duration of the Fair, and all work must be original and produced by the exhibiting artist. Only work consistent with juried images and the accepted medium is allowed to be exhibited.
Jury applications open November 1, 2025 with early bird fees of $25 through December 31, 2025, then $30 from January 1 through March 12, 2026. Booth fee is $160 for a 10x10' area, due May 1, 2026. Awards include Best of Show $250, First Place $125, Second Place $75, Third Place $50, Larry Fisher Fine Craftsmanship Award $100, and Dorothy W Sorenson Painting Award $500. Artists must furnish their own display elements including a white show tent with ample weights, as the City Park is on the shoreline of Lake Cadillac and may be windy.
