About This Call
The 58th annual Park City Kimball Arts Festival is a three-day, award-winning visual arts festival held on Park City's historic Main Street. The festival features 13 visual arts media categories and attracts more than 25,000 art enthusiasts from around the world. Professional artists are selected by a blind jury to showcase their work. In 2026, the festival drew 195 participating artists with reported art sales totaling over $2 million. Artists retain all revenue from artwork sales; the Kimball Art Center does not take any portion of sales. The event also features live music, gourmet food and drink, and creative collaborative activities. Proceeds support the Kimball Art Center, Park City's nonprofit community art center since 1976, funding art education in public schools, exhibitions, scholarships for low-income children, and hands-on instruction for teenagers.
The 2027 festival takes place August 6-8. Artist load-in begins at 4am on Friday, August 6th, with festival hours from 5pm-9pm. Saturday, August 7th runs 10am-8pm with Best in Show Awards announced at 6pm. Sunday, August 8th runs 10am-6pm with artist load-out beginning at 6pm. A $50 nonrefundable application fee applies per application. Artists may submit up to 13 applications (one per media category). Each application requires five images: four representative of the artist's body of work and one booth or display image showing overall presentation. AI-generated images are strictly prohibited.
Application deadline is February 7, 2027 at 11:59pm MT. Jury notification occurs April 1, 2027. Accepted artists must submit their Artist Registration Form and booth fee by April 30, 2027 at 11:59pm MT. Refund deadlines are June 1, 2027 for full refunds and July 1, 2027 for 50% refunds. Booth assignments and load-in times are sent June 15, 2027.
