58th Annual Newport Beach Art Exhibition

The 58th Annual Newport Beach Art Exhibition presents an opportunity for artists to show and sell their artwork to the public in a one-day exhibit, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting community art programs throughout the year.

Artists may submit up to two works of art. Eligible media includes paintings (oil, watercolor, acrylic), drawings (ink, pencil, pastel, charcoal), mixed media, sculpture, and photography. Original artwork only; works copied from published photos, artist reproductions, or Giclée are not accepted. Two-dimensional artwork size limit is 36" wide x 48" high (frame dimensions not included). Three-dimensional works must not exceed 60" height or 75 lbs. without prior approval. A frame is required for all two-dimensional artwork excluding canvases 2" thick or more. Artists must provide appropriate display easels. Entry fee is $35 for one entry and $50 for two entries. A 20% donation to the Newport Beach Arts Foundation is required on all sales. Artists cannot change artwork prices once the call closes. Work must be for sale and submitted with a photo. No refunds once artwork has been accepted.

Artwork delivery is Friday, June 27, 2025, 3:00-6:00 p.m. or Saturday, June 28, 2025, 8:30-10:00 a.m. The exhibition and sale runs Saturday, June 28, 2025, 1:00-5:00 p.m., with an awards reception at 4:00 p.m. Artwork retrieval is at 5:00 p.m. on June 28; artists are responsible for prompt retrieval with no early removal permitted. Awards are offered in four categories (Paintings, Drawings, Photography, 3D Art) with 1st place $300, 2nd place $200, and 3rd place $100 in each category, plus Juror's Choice $200 and People's Choice $100. Exhibiting artists must be 18 years of age or older. Artworks must be delivered and retrieved in person or by a designated representative; shipped artwork cannot be accepted or returned.
