4th Biennial Western Cast Iron Art Conference Juried Exhibitions

The 4th Biennial Western Cast Iron Alliance invites submissions of up to three works for National Juried Student and National Juried Professional Cast Iron Art Exhibitions. The exhibitions will take place during the 2014 Iron conference and be on display in Laramie, Wyoming in the Visual Arts Building Main Gallery at the University of Wyoming from September 10 to October 10, 2014.

The submission deadline is August 5, 2014 by midnight MST. The exhibition will be juried by artist/educator Noah Kirby, with an opening reception on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 from 7-9pm during the conference opening night. Mixed media is encouraged; however, cast iron must be an integral part of the submitted work. There are no scale requirements, but artists must supply detailed installation instructions. The entry fee is $15.00. Artists are responsible for shipping to and from Laramie, and all accepted work must arrive in Laramie no later than August 29, 2014.
