4th Annual Hudgens Juried Member's Exhibition

The 4th Annual Hudgens Juried Member's Exhibition is a competitive juried show for members of The Hudgens Center for the Arts. Not all entries will be selected for inclusion in the exhibition.

Eligibility: Open to all current members of The Hudgens Center for the Arts (as of September 2015) and artists age 18 and over. Mediums accepted include Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Mixed Media, Ceramics, Glass, Photography, Fiber Art, Textile, and Sculpture. Artwork must not exceed 48 inches in any direction, cannot weigh over 75lbs, and must have been completed within the past two years. Entry fee is $20 for up to two entries (the $60 Café entry fee includes $20 for entry and $40 for an individual membership). Current members should have received a promo code via email that will discount the fee by $40.

Juror: Annette Cone-Skelton, President/CEO/Founding Director of The Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia (MOCA GA). Exhibition dates: October 13, 2015 – December 19, 2015 at Georgia Gallery at The Hudgens Center for the Arts. Artists will be notified of juror results via email by 5pm on September 8th. Reception: Thursday, October 15th, 6-8pm with awards announced at 6:30pm. Awards include a "Best in Show" award of $100 and three "Honorable Mention" awards of $50 each. The Hudgens will also select one piece from the exhibit to purchase for its Permanent Collection. All accepted works must be delivered by Tuesday, September 29th or Wednesday, September 30th between 10am and 5pm. All 2D works must be professionally framed, wired, and ready to hang. Sales of exhibited works are encouraged with The Hudgens taking a 30% commission.
