48th Annual Lakeland Art Guild Exhibition

The 48th Annual Lakeland Art Guild Exhibition is open to all artists working in the United States. Up to three original works may be submitted in any medium except giclees, video, and performance. All works must be available through the entire run of the show and cannot be sold or shown elsewhere during the exhibition time frame.

Entry fee is $35 (non-refundable). Submit 1-3 digital images through the CaFE website. Works must have been executed within the last five years and cannot be award winners in any previous juried Lakeland Art Guild show. Two-dimensional works cannot exceed 60" in height or 48" in width (including frame). Three-dimensional works cannot exceed 24" in width and 24" in depth. Maximum weight is 50 lbs per crated or packaged work.

Artist notification of acceptance will be announced via email on Wednesday, April 22, 2020. The exhibition runs May 8-28, 2020 at the Melvin Gallery, Florida Southern College, 1118-1198 Johnson Ave., Lakeland, FL 33803. Hand-delivered artwork can be dropped off Saturday, May 2 (10am-2pm) or Sunday, May 3 (12pm-4pm). Shipped artwork must arrive between Monday, April 27 and Friday, May 1. Pick-up is Friday, May 29 (10am-5pm). The opening reception and awards announcement is Friday, May 8 (6:30-8:30pm). Juror Joseph Melancon will provide two interactive workshops the week preceding the opening. Total awards: $2,300 including Best of Show ($1,000), Gold ($600), Bronze ($400), and three Honorable Mentions ($100 each). Artists who sell work during the exhibition donate 30% of the sale price to the Lakeland Art Guild and retain 70%.
