48th Annual Juried University of Wyoming Student Exhibition

The 48th Annual Juried University of Wyoming Student Exhibition is a highlight of the University of Wyoming Art Museum's exhibition program, presenting artwork from selected University of Wyoming students. Open to any undergraduate, graduate, or post-doctoral student currently enrolled at any college or outreach school in the University of Wyoming system, the 2023 exhibition is juried by Ron Kroutel, Artist and Emeritus Professor of Art at Ohio University's School of Art + Design. Students must be registered in classes during the spring 2023 semester to be eligible for awards.

Original artwork in any medium may be submitted, including paintings, drawings, prints, photography, sculpture, graphic design, ceramics, mixed media, or video. Two-dimensional works must be ready to hang prior to submission (matted and framed under glass or Plexiglas where appropriate). All three-dimensional works must be stable, with pedestals provided by the UW Art Museum. A maximum of three works per student may be submitted. All works must specify a price or be listed as Not for Sale (NFS), and an insurance value must be provided.

Works not selected for the museum exhibition will be presented in a Salon des Refusés organized by the Student Art League. Scholarship and purchase awards will be announced during the opening reception on Friday, February 24, 2023, at 6:30 pm. The exhibition will be on view at the University of Wyoming Art Museum from February 25 through May 13, 2023. Accepted artwork drop-off dates are February 2-3, 10am-4pm. Artwork pick-up dates are May 16-17, 10am-4pm.
