48th Annual Juried ShipU Student Exhibition

Shippensburg University's 48th Annual Student Exhibition is a juried exhibition open to undergraduate students. Students may submit up to five pieces of their finest art for competition. The exhibition is selected by jurors outside of the Shippensburg University community, and jurors select both the exhibit and award winners.

Eligible media includes: Ceramics, Digital Fine Art Printing, Drawing, Graphic Design, Mixed Media, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, and Sculpture. All submitted artwork must have been completed within the last year (since October 2, 2024). There are no size limitations other than the art must fit through the doors of the Kauffman Gallery. All submitted 2-D artwork (unless on stretched canvas) must be framed with a white or black mat and must have a braided hanging wire. Original work is defined as inventive, creative, and highly distinctive; copies, reproductions, or duplications of previously printed materials, online images, art, or photographs are not eligible.

Submissions must be made online by Friday, April 7, 2026 at 11:59 pm. Each submission requires an accompanying .jpg photo upload (maximum width/height 2800px). Artwork must be hand-delivered to the Kauffman Gallery on Monday, April 27 (10am-1pm or 2pm-4pm) or Tuesday, April 28 (3pm-7pm). Only artwork delivered to the Kauffman Gallery will be considered for the exhibit. Registration requires a Shippensburg University email address (@ship.edu). This exhibition is sponsored by the SU Minds@Work Conference, an annual event featuring the research and creative achievements of undergraduates and graduate students from all disciplines.
