47th Festival of the Arts

The North River Arts Society invites artists to submit work for the 47th Festival of the Arts. Artists can submit up to 5 pieces in any medium. Up to two pieces per artist may be selected by the jury to hang in the exhibition.

Eligibility requirements: Entrants must be over age 16 and the submitting artist must be the author of the work. All artwork must be originally created and not be a copy or likeness of another's work, or derived from published images. Giclees are not eligible. Work submitted from workshops or classes is not permitted. Work must not have been previously exhibited in a North River Arts exhibition and must have been completed within the past 3 years. Artwork, including frame, must not exceed 44" in width or height.

Submit high-quality JPEG image files at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Crop images to show only the artwork without matting, frames, or background. Images should be oriented correctly and use the sRGB color profile. Multiple memorial awards are available, including the Mac Haran Memorial Award for Artistic Excellence ($250) and ten additional awards of $100 each recognizing various artistic categories.
