46th Festival of the Arts

The North River Arts Society invites artists to submit work for the 46th Festival of the Arts. Artists can submit up to 5 pieces in any medium. Up to two pieces per artist may be selected by the jury to hang in the exhibition. All artwork must be original work created by the submitting artist and completed within the past 3 years. Work must not exceed 44 inches in width or height and cannot have been previously exhibited in a North River Arts exhibition. Artists must be over 16 years old. Submission of artwork created during in-person or online workshops or classes is not permitted.

Entry fees are $20 for the first entry and $10 for each additional entry. Submit high-quality JPEG images at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Images should show only the artwork itself without matting, frames, or background distractions and must be oriented correctly. Entries may be edited and images substituted until the deadline.

The exhibition features multiple juried awards including the Mac Haran Memorial Award for Artistic Excellence ($250), and ten additional $100 awards for categories including soft pastel, composition, creativity, color, floral composition, landscape, nautical photography, impressionism, and spirit of Marshfield.
