46th Annual National Juried Art Show

The Arts Council of Wayne County is accepting submissions for the 46th Annual National Juried Art Show. Selected pieces will be exhibited in the gallery and facilities at 139 W. Walnut St. in Goldsboro, NC from October 3-31, 2025. The opening reception is October 3, 2025, 6-8 PM. Approximately 60-70 pieces will be selected for exhibition.

Entry fee is $40 (non-refundable) for up to 4 works. Submit 1-4 images of original works not previously shown in this exhibition and executed within the last two years. This call is open to all artists in the United States aged 18 and older. Acceptable media include drawings, paintings, printmaking, graphics, sculptures, ceramics, textiles, mixed media, and photography. Work must not exceed 48 inches in any direction, be transportable by no more than two people, and weigh no more than 100 lbs. Two-dimensional entries must be professionally framed and/or securely wired for hanging, with Plexiglas or glass if subject to damage. Three-dimensional work must sit solidly on a flat surface or be properly wired for hanging.

All accepted art must remain for the duration of the exhibition and be for sale. The Arts Council of Wayne County retains a 35% commission of the sale price. Artists are responsible for shipping costs and insurance. Entries are judged digitally. Juror Michael Felice is a Philadelphia-based artist specializing in figurative clay sculpture and illustrative printmaking. Prizes include $1000 Best In Show, $500 Second Prize, $250 Third Prize, $100 Best In Wayne County, and $100 People's Choice Award. Honorable mentions will be awarded at the juror's discretion. Notifications to artists will be sent August 29, 2025. Deadline to receive accepted art is September 27, 2025. Art pick-up and mail-out is November 1-5, 2025.
