45th Annual Western Spirit Juried Art Show & Sale

The Western Spirit Juried Art Show & Sale (WSJASS) is the premier annual juried art show in the Rocky Mountain Region for emerging and established artists who create original works interpreting the American West. The show runs March 7 – April 19, 2026.

Accepted media categories include Acrylic, Drawing, Mixed-Media (including digital drawings), Oil, Pastel, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture, and Watercolor. AI-generated art and installation art will not be accepted. All art is selected by an independent jury comprised of professionals in the western art community. Award judging is completed the Friday before the Western Spirit Opening Reception. Awards include Best of Show ($1,000), Best of Each Media ($500), and Best Miniature ($100).

Entry fee is $20 per entry plus a $20 media fee. Each artist may submit up to four pieces total. Submit entries through www.callforentry.org with JPEG images (max 5MB, minimum 1200 pixels on longest side). All entries are due by November 1, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Work must be original, created within the last three years, and not previously displayed for sale at the Museum. All accepted artworks must be for sale for the entirety of the show with a 35% commission retained by the Museum. 2-D artwork must be wired with D-rings and framed or gallery wrapped (max 47 inches horizontal x 60 inches vertical including frame). 3-D work base must be no larger than 3 square feet. Miniatures are limited to 10 inches framed (2-D) or 18 inches in any dimension (3-D). Hand-delivery is January 26-30, 2026. Shipping must arrive January 19-23, 2026.
