44th Annual Western Spirit Juried Art Show & Sale

The Western Spirit Juried Art Show & Sale (WSJASS) is the premier annual juried art show in the Rocky Mountain Region for emerging and established artists who create original art depicting the American West. The exhibition runs March 2 – April 23, 2025.

Accepted media categories include Acrylic, Drawing, Mixed-Media (including digital drawings), Oil, Pastel, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture, and Watercolor. All artwork is selected by an independent jury comprised of professionals in the western art community. Artists may submit up to four pieces total. Entry fee is $20.00 plus a $20.00 media fee. Submissions are made through www.callforentry.org (CAFÉ) and must be received by November 1, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. All images must be sized no smaller than 1200 pixels on the longest side and submitted as JPEG files under 5MB. AI-generated art and installation art are not accepted.

All submitted artwork must be original in concept, design, and execution, created within the last three years, and not previously displayed for sale at the CFD Old West Museum. 2-D pieces must not exceed 47 inches horizontal or 60 inches vertical including frame; 3-D pieces must not exceed three square feet at the base. All artwork must be ready to hang or display upon arrival and must be available for sale for the entire duration of the show. The Museum collects a 35% commission on all sales.
