44th Annual Members' Juried Art Exhibition

Artistry's 44th Annual Members' Juried Art Exhibition runs October 2 – November 13, 2020. The exhibition features work selected by juror Nicole Watson, Director of the Catherine G. Murphy Gallery at St. Catherine University. Due to COVID-19, there will be no public reception, but award winners will be announced online on October 2. This competition brings together Artistry's talented members, showcasing many different mediums, styles and techniques.

Eligibility is open to all Artistry members, 18 years or older, who reside in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa and Wisconsin. A membership initiated after September 1, 2019 is considered valid for this competition. Artists may submit one or two different art pieces. Artwork must be original (no prints or reproductions allowed) and ideally completed in the last five years. Maximum size for 2-D and 3-D work is 50" in any direction including the frame. All visual art media is accepted, including photography, except film or video. The entry fee is $25 (non-refundable, regardless of number of pieces submitted). Digital images must be in JPEG or JPG format, 1200 pixels or more on the longest side, 72 ppi/dpi resolution, and under 5 MB.

Awards include a $500 Best of Show award, $250 Excellence awards in 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional work, four $100 Merit awards, and four Honorable Mentions. Accepted work must be delivered to Artistry on Saturday, September 26 between 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Notification of acceptance will be emailed by 5:00 p.m. September 3. Artists must pick up exhibited artwork Saturday, November 14 between 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Artistry receives a 25% commission on all sales. Contact [email protected] to verify membership status.
