43rd Annual Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors

The 43rd Annual Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors is hosted by View Arts Center in Old Forge, NY, and will be open August 3 - September 28, 2024 in View's two largest galleries. The exhibition is open to all artists working in water-based media, including transparent and opaque watercolors, casein, egg tempera, gouache, acrylic, and ink. All works must be comprised of 90% water media. Collage and prints are not eligible. All entries must be of original design and personal execution created within the past two years, and artwork previously shown at View is not eligible.

Entry fee is $35 for one work, with an additional $10 per image for up to three total submissions. Submissions must be made through CallforEntry.org. Image size should be unframed dimensions. Selection notification will be sent by May 11, 2024. Selected paintings must be received at View no later than May 31, 2024. The Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony is August 2, 2024. Juror of Selection is Dean Mitchell; Juror of Awards is Craig Anderson.

All shipping is at the expense of the artist, with a $10 handling fee for each package shipped to View. Selected artwork must be suitably framed and ready for installation. A prepaid shipping label for return of the work must be included. View receives 35% commission on any sales made during or resulting from the exhibition. Prize-winning artists will receive a 2024 Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors Catalog.
