About This Call
The 42nd Cape Coral Art Festival and Business Showcase takes place January 9-10, 2027, in downtown Cape Coral on Cape Coral Parkway between Del Prado Blvd. S and SE 10th Place. Hours are Saturday 10 am-5 pm and Sunday 10 am-4 pm. The festival is consistently ranked as a Sunshine Artist 200 Best event and was voted the Best Outdoor Event by Gulfshore Life Magazine in 2020 and the 5th Best Art Festival by Sunshine Artists. The 2026 festival drew 87,000 attendees. Net proceeds support community projects through the Rotary Club of Cape Coral.
Application deadline is September 4, 2026, with a $35 application fee. Booth fees range from $450 for a 10' x 11' single booth to $900 for a 10' x 22' double booth, with larger premier area options available. Artists who score highest in jury selection are invited to the Premier Artists Area, which includes booth location near the Holiday Inn Express, first access to reduced lodging packages, lunch and water delivery, larger 13-foot booth spaces, and dedicated bathrooms. All artists receive amenities including complimentary continental breakfast, 24-hour security, enhanced WiFi, drive-up access for setup and teardown, free off-street parking, $11,200 in cash awards, and volunteer assistance with booth setup and sitting.
Accepted media categories include ceramics, digital art, drawing and pastels, fiber and fiber wearables, glass, graphics/printmaking, and jewelry. All work must be original, handcrafted, and signed by the artist. Machine-made, mass-produced, and AI-generated work is prohibited. Jury selection occurs September 7-October 2, with acceptance notifications emailed October 9. Booth payment deadline is November 30, and artists must confirm participation by November 6.
