42nd Annual Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors

The 42nd Annual Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors is hosted annually by View Center for Arts & Culture in Old Forge, NY. The exhibition runs August 5 - October 1, 2023, and will be displayed in View's 2 largest galleries. The exhibition is open to all artists working in water-based media, including transparent and opaque watercolors, casein, egg tempera, gouache, acrylic, and ink.

Eligibility requirements: All works must be comprised of 90% water media. Collage and prints are not eligible. All entries must be of original design and personal execution created within the past 2 years. Artwork previously shown at View is not eligible. Entry fee is $40 for one work, with an additional $15 per image for up to 3 total submissions. Artists may submit 1-3 images. Selection notification will be sent by May 1, 2023. Selected paintings must be received at View no later than May 26, 2023. View receives 35% commission on any sales made during or resulting from the exhibition. All shipping is at the expense of the artist, with a $10 handling fee per package. The opening reception and awards ceremony is August 4, 2023. Juror of Selection: Ken Call, AWS, NWS, TWSA MS.
