About This Call
The 41st Annual Ridgway Rendezvous Art & Craft Festival is a juried show hosted by Weehawken Creative Arts, dedicated to showcasing beautiful artwork, quality craftsmanship, and unique handmade items. The event attracts affluent clientele, including local and regional art collectors, second homeowners, and vacationers from across the United States. The weekend runs alongside Telluride Jazz Fest and captures traveling festival clientele as well.
This 2-day festival takes place in Historic Downtown Ridgway's "Hartwell" Town Park, surrounded by the Cimarron & Sneffels Mountain Ranges. The park is situated at the junction of Highways 550 & 62 along the San Juan Scenic Byway. The festival features live music, a beer, wine, and cocktail tent, and a variety of children's activities, creating a vibrant, community and family-friendly atmosphere. The application fee is $35, and 6 images plus a booth shot are required.
Awards include Best in Show, Mayor's Choice, Best Display, First in Category, and Weehawken's Choice. The festival accepts any artist or craftsperson exhibiting their own original, handmade works across categories including ceramics, fiber, painting, jewelry, sculpture, photography, and more. All proceeds support Weehawken Creative Arts children's arts programs and scholarships.
