About This Call
The Larson Gallery, located on the campus of Yakima Valley College in Yakima, Washington, is the largest and oldest continually operating non-commercial gallery in Central Washington. This is a national juried photography exhibition held every two years, open to all photographers residing in the United States.
Eligibility: Open to all artists residing in the United States. Only original artwork executed by the artist within the last two years and not previously shown in the Larson Gallery will be considered. Accepted media includes all photographic processes, non-traditional materials and/or mixed media, digital images derived from the artist's own sources, and video up to 5 minutes in length (note that only a total of two video works will be included in the exhibit). Submissions must be made via the CaFE system; mail-in entries will not be considered. Artworks of multiple units are considered as one artwork only when priced, labeled, and photographed as one piece.
Fees and Deadlines: Entry fee is $20 per media item, with up to 4 media items allowed per entry. Submission deadline is February 2, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Notifications will be sent February 8, 2017. Accepted work must be delivered by February 25, 2017. The exhibition runs March 9 - April 15, 2017 (closed March 21-29 for spring break), with a reception on March 9, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. All delivered work must be picked up no later than April 21, 2017. The juror is Julia Dolan, Minor White Curator of Photography at the Portland Art Museum.
