40th Annual Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors

The 40th Annual Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors is hosted annually in August and September by View Center for Arts & Culture in Old Forge, NY. The exhibition is open to all artists working in water-based media, including transparent and opaque watercolors, casein, egg tempera, gouache, and ink. The exhibition is planned for in-person at View and will also include an online exhibition with all exhibiting works.

Eligibility requirements: All works must be comprised of 90% water media. Collage and prints are not eligible. All entries must be of original design and personal execution created within the past 2 years. Artwork previously shown at View is not eligible. Artists may submit 2-5 works. Entry fee is $45 for non-members or $30 for View members (includes two submissions). Additional works cost $10 each. Through generous donations, View offers over $12,000 in cash prizes. Selection notification will be sent by April 23, 2021. Selected paintings must be received at View no later than May 21, 2021. The opening reception and awards ceremony is August 6, 2021, 4-7pm, with the exhibition running August 7 - September 26, 2021.
