3rd Florence Annual Open Call 2025: Generative Metamorphosis

This international open call exhibition accepts work in painting, photography, video, sculpture, installation, conceptual art, performance art, graphic design, and other media. The exhibition is organized by Casa Abitata and will be held at their gallery in the heart of Florence on the banks of the Arno River.

Entry fees are €35 for one artwork, €45 for two artworks, and €55 for three artworks. The submission deadline is January 8, 2026. Eligible categories include Craft/Traditional Arts, Photography, Drawing, Film/Video/New Media, Mixed-Media/Multi-Discipline, Painting, and Sculpture.

The exhibition features various awards selected by the jury during the opening ceremony and exhibition, including the grand prize (artist of the year), honorable nomination awards, outstanding contribution awards, excellent visual awards, and best rising star awards. The jury consists of professors, scholars, presidents of art academies and art associations from Italy, China and the United States, as well as prominent international curators. Artists are invited to use dynamic and personalized language to explore the transformation of life forms and expand the boundaries and metamorphic state of artistic traces.
