3rd Annual Abstract Sanctuary

Abstract Sanctuary is a group exhibition at Verum Ultimum Art Gallery in Portland, Oregon. The competition is open to all 2D and 3D artists, national and international, working in all forms of painting, drawing, photography, graphics, digital, and sculpture. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older. Wall-mounted works must not exceed 60" in height or width.

Submit 1-3 digital JPG images of your work. The entry fee is $35.00 for one to three artworks. Notification of acceptance will be made via email by April 20, 2016. Accepted artwork must be received by May 14, 2016 (mailed to Verum Ultimum, c/o Administrator JG Cutshall, 7103 SE Holgate Blvd, Portland, OR 97206). The exhibition will be held in June 2016 at the gallery (3014 NE Ainsworth, Portland, OR 97211), with an opening reception. The exhibition will also be posted on the Verum Ultimum Gallery website, and one artist may be selected for a featured online blog post interview.

All works in the show must be for sale. The gallery takes a 35 percent commission on all sales, with the artist determining the sale price. Artists retain all copyrights to their work. By entering, selected artists grant Verum Ultimum Gallery rights to use images on printed materials and the gallery website for promotional purposes only.
