About This Call
The 39th Annual Juried University of Wyoming Student Exhibition is open to any undergraduate, graduate, or post baccalaureate student enrolled at the University of Wyoming during the 2014 academic year. The exhibition will run February 1 – March 1, 2014 at the UW Art Museum.
A maximum of three works per student may be submitted for consideration. Original artwork including paintings, drawings, prints, photography, sculpture, graphic design, ceramics, and mixed media are eligible. Two-dimensional works must be ready to hang (matted and framed under glass or plexiglass). Three-dimensional works must be stable, with bases provided by the UW Art Museum. Title, date, size (H x W x D), and medium must be provided at submission. All works must specify price or be listed Not For Sale (NFS) and an insurance value must be provided. If additional images of an installation or 3D piece are included, a disk of images must be submitted by the deadline. The UW Art Museum reserves the right to reject and return any work that does not meet preparation criteria or if a submitted image was altered and does not accurately represent the artwork.
Submission deadline is December 20, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Accepted work will be posted January 16-17, 2014. Delivery of accepted artwork is Friday, January 31, 2014, 6-8 pm. The opening reception and awards ceremony is Monday, February 10 at 7 pm. A variety of cash and purchase awards are available. There is no fee to apply.
