38th Annual Members Show

This is a juried exhibition for current CPS members. One entry per member is permitted, and works are juried for awards only. The entry fee is $35, and 2024 dues must be paid to participate.

Eligible works must be original soft pastels (minimum 80% soft pastel, no oil pastel) created in the past three years and not previously shown in a CPS exhibition. Works must be framed and ready to hang with wire (no sawtooth hangers), securely framed under glass or plexi-glass. Maximum size is 28 inches on the longest side including frame. Works done in classroom or workshop settings, painted over mechanical reproductions or collages, or glazed with matte acrylic, resin, or solvent varnish are not eligible. Giclees and prints are not accepted.

Submit high-quality JPEG images at least 1200 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Crop images to show only the artwork without matting, frames, or background. Images should be oriented correctly and use sRGB color profile. Entry fees are non-refundable and must be submitted by the deadline. Entries cannot be accepted or changed after the deadline, and incomplete entries will be disqualified. A 30% commission will be taken for sold paintings; NFS work is eligible.
