38th Annual All Media Juried Art Exhibition

The Lancaster Museum of Art and History (MOAH) and MOAH:CEDAR announce the 38th Annual All-Media Juried Art Exhibition. Artists of all ages and experience levels from the Antelope Valley and the 5th Supervisorial District of Los Angeles County are welcome to participate. The exhibition welcomes a wide variety of media including digital, audio, video art, AR, VR, wearable art, and new media. Physical dimensions are limited to generally no more than 36 inches in any given direction.

Works must have been completed within the last three years and not previously exhibited at MOAH or MOAH:CEDAR. Artists must reside within the 5th Supervisorial District of Los Angeles County or within specified ZIP codes. Artists 17 and under must have parental permission. The jurors are Cecelia Koger (Director of Exhibitions for Angels Gate Cultural Center), Marcus Kuiland-Nazario (founding artist of 18th Street Arts Center and Highways Performance Space), and Edwin Vasquez (Public Art Commissioner for the city of Palmdale).

The exhibition runs from Saturday, May 27 to Sunday, July 9, 2023. An opening reception will be held Saturday, May 27 from 6PM-8PM with an awards ceremony beginning at 7 p.m. Cash awards will total over $1,000, including Best of Exhibition, 2nd Best of Exhibition, and 3rd Best of Exhibition awards. Best of Exhibition winners will receive a portfolio review with MOAH's curators and may be considered for acquisition into the Museum's permanent collection. Artwork delivery is May 6-7 (12PM-5PM) and pickup is July 9 (5PM-8PM) or July 10 (12PM-5PM). Applicants must be available for delivery and pickup dates. Entry fee is $3.00 processing fee plus $5.00 per additional entry (first entry free). Submit 1-3 work samples (images, audio, or video) online through callforentry.org.
