About This Call
The 37th Annual McNeese National Works on Paper Exhibition is open to all artists living in the United States. Work in any medium using paper as a component part is eligible. Artwork, including frame, should not exceed 40" in any dimension. All artwork should be original and completed in the last two years. Artists may submit no more than three entries. The entry fee is $35, which entitles the artist to a maximum of three entries.
The exhibition will be held March 21 - May 3, 2024 at McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana. The juror is Graham C. Boettcher, The R. Hugh Daniel Director and CEO of the Birmingham Museum of Art. Awards will be announced at the opening reception on March 21 at 7 p.m. $3,000 will be available for the purchase of works for the McNeese State University Works on Paper Permanent Collection. Accepted artworks are required to remain in the Grand Gallery for the duration of the exhibition. Works must be received by March 8. A 40 percent commission will be charged on all artists' sales by the Grand Gallery. Each entrant will receive a copy of the exhibition catalog.
