About This Call
The 37th Annual All Florida Exhibition is a juried show featuring original artwork created by artists working in a wide variety of media from across Florida. The exhibition represents contemporary Florida artists and includes an awards program with $1,000 cash for Best In Show, a 2nd Place gift certificate, $100 cash for 3rd place, and Jurors Choice Award(s) of Alliance for the Arts membership(s).
Accepted media categories include painting (oil, acrylic, collage, watercolor, mixed media), drawing, photography, sculpture, ceramics, metalsmithing, glass, digital media, video, printmaking, and fiber or textiles. Entries consist of 1 to 3 artworks. Entry fees are $20.00 for one entry and $35.00 for 2 or 3 entries for Alliance members; $25.00 for one entry and $45.00 for 2 or 3 entries for nonmembers. All submitted works selected for inclusion must be offered for sale at a labeled price set by the artist, with the Alliance retaining a 40% commission on sales.
Eligibility is open to all artists residing in Florida. Only original artwork completed in the last two years will be accepted; no Giclee or previously exhibited work at the Alliance is permitted. All 2D artwork must be wired and ready to hang, not exceeding six feet in any direction. All 3D artwork must not exceed six feet in any direction or 150 lbs. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs. Exhibit dates are March 3 – April 1, 2023. Deadline for entries is January 23. Email notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent February 10. Drop off of accepted work is February 27 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Opening reception is March 3 from 5 – 7 p.m. Pick up of accepted work is April 3 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The juror is Grace Gdaniec, a south Florida-based artist, curator, and arts programmer.
