360 Degrees - Looking at the Last Year

D'art Gallery, a contemporary gallery located at 900 Santa Fe Drive in Denver's Art District, invites artists to enter "360 Degrees - Looking at the Last Year." The exhibition asks artists to survey the past year and share what spoke to their heart—whether a memory, event, place, accomplishment, or moment in nature. Artists are invited to show how these impressions manifested through their work and creativity.

The exhibition runs May 9 - June 2, 2024. Jurors Chris Stevens and Jennifer Perlow will select work based on the combination of impression and artistic execution. Cash prizes include Best of Show ($300) and three Honorable Mentions ($100 each), announced at the opening reception. Entry fee is $40 for up to three pieces. The deadline to enter is March 26, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Results will be emailed the week of April 1, 2024.

Artwork specifications: Maximum size 8' tall by 5' wide including frame; maximum weight 50 pounds. All work must be original, completed, and ready to hang or display. Paintings must be framed or gallery wrapped with fully painted edges; two-dimensional works on paper must be framed. No Giclee prints, sawtooth hangers, or audio-video performance artworks accepted. Complex installations or fragile artwork must be installed by the creating artist or their representative. Accepted artwork is due by May 5 at 4:00 p.m. (shipped work accepted until May 4 at 4 p.m.; hand delivery available May 4-5 during gallery hours). All artwork must be for sale and will incur a 30% commission if sold. Shipping and return shipping costs are the artist's responsibility. Artwork not picked up within 30 days after the close of the exhibition will be considered abandoned property of D'art Gallery.
