35 x 35

The 35 x 35 exhibition is open to all artists born on or after January 1, 1988, and residing in the state of Utah (part-time residents, including students, are eligible). Artists must submit 5-10 examples of their work (images or videos) representative of their body of work, with at least three works available for exhibition. Submissions also require an artist statement, bio, and headshot. The entry fee is $25. All artists who submit an entry will be given the opportunity to create an artist listing on the Artists of Utah website free of charge (a $50 value).

All eligible submissions are considered by the Artists of Utah Board of Directors through a blind process that evaluates only images/videos and artist statements. The board will select 35 artists to be featured in the exhibition, which will be curated by staff and board members. The show is hosted by the Salt Lake City Arts Council's Finch Lane Gallery in Salt Lake City and runs from January 12 to February 23, 2024.

Three independent jurors will each select a work to receive a Juror's Award. A People's Choice award is selected by voting ballots from gallery patrons during the exhibition. The Board of Directors will choose one artist to receive a Board of Directors Award and will be invited to sit on the board of Artists of Utah. Awards will be presented at the end of the exhibition.
