34th Annual Foundation Arts Festival 2023

The 34th Annual Foundation Arts Festival 2023 is a juried makers retail show held by the Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts & Sciences. The festival takes place on Saturday, July 8, 2023, from 10am-4pm at 120 Long Beach Blvd, Loveladies, NJ 08008, featuring 80+ juried artists in both indoor and outdoor booth spaces.

Artists must create handmade, original work. Work can be designed by the artist and produced in small quantities within the continental U.S. All mediums are welcome, including crafts, ceramics, clothing, drawing, fiber, furniture, glass, home décor, jewelry, leather, metal, mixed media, paper, prints, painting, photography, soap/fragrances/cosmetics, wearables, wood, and 2D work. Work must not be commercially produced, kits, or imported goods. All jewelry must be hand-crafted with no more than 40% purchased components. Artists must be 18 years or older and attend the entire festival. Items exhibited must match the type and quality submitted for jurying.

Entry fee is $25.00 (non-refundable). Accepted artists must submit booth fee payment by May 15, 2023. Outdoor booth options include 10' x 10' ($225) or 10' x 20' ($400). Indoor gallery booths are on a waiting list only, with 8' x 8' ($350) or 10' x 10' ($400) spaces available. Applicants must submit 3-6 images of representative work. The jury panel includes 3-4 jurors who determine category balance and select artists. All participating vendors are invited to participate in the Holiday Market Fest (November 18 - December 3) in the indoor gallery, where LBIF retails 40% of the retail price and handles sales. Cancellations made on or before May 1, 2023 receive a refund minus a $50 processing fee; cancellations after May 1 are non-refundable. Artists who do not check in by 8:00 am on July 8 will be considered a no-show and forfeit their space with no refund.
