34th Annual Emeryville Art Exhibition

The 34th Annual Emeryville Art Exhibition is open to artists and craftspeople living and/or working in Emeryville, 18 years or older. All visual media and performance arts will be considered. The exhibition will be held October 2 - November 1, 2020. There is no entry fee.

Artists may submit up to three artworks for selection. In addition to three artworks, artists may submit a video (2 minutes maximum) with information about themselves, their work, and/or process. Detail shots of images may be submitted if clearly indicated as details. Only works not previously shown in the Emeryville Annual are eligible. Applicants are encouraged to show work completed within the last five years. Selection of work will be online only through CaFE. Accepted work will be disqualified if misrepresented or if photos of work are digitally enhanced.

Artists will be notified in early September of acceptance. Sales of work included in the exhibition will be encouraged through an online sales portal, with a 25% commission of any sale donated to Emeryville Celebration of the Arts, Inc. The City of Emeryville Art in Public Places Program will consider accepted artwork for a purchase award; only entries that are for sale are eligible, and selected artwork will become part of the City's permanent collection. Accepted artwork images may be included in a catalog and/or used for publicity without compensation. There will be no substitutions for selected work.
