32nd Annual McNeese National Works on Paper Exhibition

The 32nd Annual McNeese National Works on Paper Exhibition is open to all artists living in the United States. Work in any medium using paper as a component part is eligible. Artwork, including frame, should not exceed 40" in any dimension. All artwork should be original and completed in the last two years. Artists may submit no more than three entries. The entry fee is $35, which entitles the artist to a maximum of three entries.

The deadline for receiving all entry submissions is February 14, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Notification of acceptance will be sent February 28. Accepted works must be received by March 12. The exhibition runs March 21 - May 9, 2019 in the Grand Gallery at McNeese State University. The opening reception is Thursday, March 21, 6 to 8 p.m., with the juror's gallery talk and awards presentation at 7 p.m. Juror: Stephanie Mitchell, Executive Director of Lawndale Art Center, Houston, Texas.

$3,000 will be available for the purchase of works for the McNeese State University Works on Paper Permanent Collection. A 40 percent commission will be charged on all artists' sales by the Grand Gallery. Works are insured while on exhibition in the Grand Gallery. Accepted artwork must be suitable for formal gallery presentation and the rigors of packaged shipping. Each entrant will receive a copy of the exhibition catalog.
