About This Call
Arts North International is a juried, physical exhibition open to artists from around the world. Entering its 31st year, the exhibition is displayed at the Hopkins Center for the Arts, 1111 Mainstreet, Hopkins, MN 55343, located 15 minutes from downtown Minneapolis. ANI is a physical exhibition featuring an additional virtual tour supplement.
More than $10,000 in awards are available, including juror-selected Best of Show ($3,000), 2 Awards of Excellence ($1,000 each), 2 Awards of Merit ($500 each), as well as honors for medium-specific categories and sponsor-selected awards. The exhibition runs Saturday, January 10 – Saturday, February 21, 2026. A reception will be held Saturday, January 10, 2026, 4:00 – 6:00 pm.
Entry fee is $39 for three images/entries, with additional images/entries at $6 each. A maximum of 10 images may be submitted, with a maximum of three artworks selected for exhibition. Accepted media includes painting (acrylic, oil, encaustic, alkyd), ceramics, drawing, textiles/fiber, glass, mixed media, pastel, printmaking, photography, sculpture, digital (drawing, painting, sculpture—no video), and watercolor/watermedia (gouache, tempera, casein). Maximum width of wall-hanging work is 60 inches. Free-standing sculpture must fit through a standard door space and be light enough for a manual dolly. All hanging work must be properly framed with a hanging wire. Entries must be original work completed since January 1, 2023 and may not have been exhibited in previous Arts North exhibitions. Artists will be notified of jury results on or by Friday, December 5, 2025. Free in-person drop-off of accepted artwork is available Saturday, January 3, 10am – 4pm. Shipped artwork must arrive between Monday, December 15, 2025 and Friday, January 2, 2026, and must include prepaid return labels. Any accepted work listed for sale will be sold through the Hopkins Center for the Arts, which will collect sales tax and retain a 30% sales commission.
