311 Gallery Annual Landscapes & Seascapes Juried Show 2019

311 Gallery, located at 311 West Martin Street in Raleigh, NC, calls for entries to the September 2019 Landscapes & Seascapes Juried Show. Artists may submit a maximum of two works of art in 2-D or 3-D that have never been previously shown at 311 Gallery. Artists may interpret the show title in any way and in any medium suitable for a family-friendly audience. Style may be realistic or abstracted realism. Entry fee is $32 for up to 2 works of art.

All entries must be available and priced for sale. The gallery depends upon sales commissions (38%) to help cover show advertising costs. Work sample requirements: 1-4 images total, with one photo required per 2-D work and one or two photos per 3-D work. 2-D artwork maximum dimensions: 32 inches width, 72 inches height. 3-D artwork maximum dimensions: 16 inches width and depth, 28 inches overall height. Digital images must be unenhanced JPEG files, not less than 1920 pixels on the longest side, and not exceed 5 MB in file size.

Deadline for submission is July 19, 2019. Notification of acceptance will be July 28, 2019. Accepted art must be hand delivered or shipped between August 28-31, 2019 (hand delivery) or August 28-30, 2019 (shipped) between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. Show dates are September 5-28, 2019, with First Friday Opening Reception on September 6, 2019 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Unsold art pickup is Saturday, September 28, 2019 between 12:00 and 4:00 pm. Awards: 1st Place $350 (winner invited to February 2020 Winners Exhibition), 2nd Place $250, 3rd Place $150, and three Honorable Mention awards of $50 each. Jurors are Paul Cory, Lynda Harris, and Mary Louise Ravese.
