311 Gallery Annual Landscapes & Seascapes Juried Show 2018

311 Gallery, located at 311 West Martin Street in Raleigh, NC, invites artists to submit work for the September 2018 Landscapes & Seascapes Juried Show. A maximum of two works of art per artist may be entered. The show is open to 2-D or 3-D works of art that have never been previously shown at 311 Gallery. Artists may interpret the show title in any way and in any medium. All entries must be available and priced for sale.

Submission deadline is July 20, 2018. Entry fee is $30 for up to 2 works of art, payable through CallForEntry.org or by check. Accepted artists will be notified on July 28, 2018. Accepted artwork may be received August 30-September 1, 2018 between 12:00 and 4:00 pm. The show runs September 6-29, 2018, with a First Friday Opening Reception on September 7, 2018 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Unsold artwork may be picked up September 29, 2018 between 12:00 and 4:00 p.m.

Selection is based on the average rating of three jurors using photographs of submitted artworks. Final judging for awards occurs after artwork arrives at the gallery. Awards include: 1st Place $300 (winner invited to participate in the 2018 Juried Show Winners Exhibition in February 2019), 2nd Place $200, 3rd Place $100, and two Honorable Mentions of $50 each. Artists receive 65% of sales; 311 Gallery retains a 35% commission. Size limits: 2-D works maximum 32 inches width and 72 inches height; 3-D works maximum 16 inches width and depth and 28 inches height (including framing or base). Digital JPEG images must be at least 1920 pixels on the longest side and not exceed 5 MB. 311 Gallery will not be responsible for damage or theft and artists must provide their own insurance.
