311 Gallery Annual FLOWERS & GARDENS Juried Show 2019

311 Gallery, located at 311 West Martin Street in Raleigh, NC, calls for entries to the July 2019 FLOWERS & GARDENS Juried Show. A maximum of two works of art per artist may be entered. The show is open to 2-D or 3-D works of art that have never been previously shown at 311 Gallery. Artists may interpret the show title in any way and in any medium suitable for a family-friendly audience. Style may be realistic or abstracted realism, with settings such as still life, flowered meadow, or garden.

Entry fee is $32 for up to 2 works of art, payable through CAFÉ (www.CallForEntry.org). Submission deadline is May 17, 2019. Accepted artists will be notified on May 26, 2019. Hand-delivered artwork must be received June 26-29, 2019 between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. Shipped artwork must be received June 26-28, 2019 between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. The show runs July 5-27, 2019, with a First Friday Opening Reception on July 5, 2019 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Unsold artwork may be picked up Saturday, July 27 between 12:00 and 4:00 pm.

All entries must be available and priced for sale. 311 Gallery retains a 38% sales commission. Size limits: 2-D works maximum 32 inches width and 72 inches height; 3-D works maximum 16 inches width and depth and 28 inches overall height. Digital JPEG images must be at least 1920 pixels on the longest side and not exceed 5 MB. Two-dimensional works must be appropriately wired on D-rings and ready to hang. Three-dimensional work must sit solidly on a flat surface or be properly wired for hanging. Awards: 1st Place $350 (winner invited to 2020 Winners Exhibition), 2nd Place $250, 3rd Place $150, and three Honorable Mention awards of $50 each. Jurors are Linda Cromwell, Bekah Haslett, and Janie Johnson.
