311 Gallery 2017 Landscapes & Seascapes Juried Show

311 Gallery, located at 311 West Martin Street in Raleigh, NC, calls for entries for the November 2017 Landscapes & Seascapes Juried Show. The gallery has been bringing color to Raleigh's Warehouse District since 2007 and hosts monthly juried shows featuring national artists. The show is open to 2-D or 3-D works of art that have never been previously shown at 311 Gallery. Artists may interpret the show title in any way and in any medium. A maximum of two works of art may be entered per artist, and all entries must be for sale.

Entry fee is $30 for up to 2 works of art, with a submission deadline of September 22, 2017. Notification of acceptance will be sent October 8, 2017. Accepted artwork may be received October 26-28, 2017 between 11 am and 4 pm. The show runs November 2-25, 2017, with a First Friday Opening Reception on November 3, 2017 from 6-9 p.m. Artwork pickup is November 25, 2017 between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Awards include: 1st Place $250 (winner invited to participate in the 2017 Juried Show Winners Exhibition in February 2018), 2nd Place $150, 3rd Place $100, two Honorable Mentions, and one People's Choice Award (each receiving a certificate for free entry into a future juried show). Size limits: 2-D artwork maximum 32 inches width and 42 inches height; 3-D artwork maximum 16 inches base width and depth and 28 inches overall height. Digital JPEG images must be at least 1920 pixels on the longest side and not exceed 5 MB. Artists receive 65% of sales; 311 Gallery retains 35% commission.
