30x30

30x30 is an annual challenge that invites artists to create 30 original artworks in 30 days. This curated opportunity aims to help artists refine and redefine their practice by establishing new methods of approaching art making.

To apply, submit 3 samples of existing artwork that reflect the kind of work you intend to explore during the challenge if selected. Do not create the 30 artworks before receiving notification of your selection. The entry fee is $25. You must be 18 years or older to apply. Open to international artists.

If selected, each artwork must be precisely 6" x 6" and ready to hang with wire backing upon delivery to the gallery. 3D work must not extend more than 6" from the wall. All artwork must be original, completed within the 30-day window, and cannot have been previously exhibited at Blue Line Arts. All artworks must be individually for sale. Blue Line Arts handles all sales transactions; non-member artists receive 50% commission and members receive 60% commission. The exhibition runs December 2, 2023 - January 13, 2024. Application deadline: October 7, 2023 at 5:00pm PST. Notifications will be sent by October 14, 2023. Shipping deadline: November 15, 2023. Hand delivery available November 19-20, 10am-3pm.
